dB Technology can can perform accredited EMC testing to a number of Canadian ISED standards in order to help you gain access to the Canadian market.

The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) is responsible for producing standards whose requirements need to be met in order to place products on the Canadian market.

ICES Testing

dB Technology is able to provide EMC testing to:

ICES-001 – Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) Equipment

ICES-003 – Information Technology Equipment (including Digital Apparatus)

The requirements of ICES-003 align closely with the ANSI C63.4 test methods used under the FCC rules for unintentional radiators. We can provide test reports that address the requirements of both regulatory authorities where manufacturers wish to place their products on both the US and Canadian markets.
