Anechoic chamber 2
Our second anechoic chamber facility is nearly fully anechoic, in that ferrite radio frequency-absorbent material is attached to walls and ceiling and a significant portion of the floor.
Features include
- Large remote-control turntable
- Pneumatic controls for remote aerial rotation
- Remote video monitoring system
- Motorised mast allows measurements to be made at different heights


Semi-anechoic chamber
The semi-anechoic chamber is used for radiated tests which include both radiated emissions and radiated immunity. Borderline emissions measurements in the semi-anechoic chamber are specifically measured on the OATS.
Features include
- The main double doors into the chamber are 1.95 x 1.18m
- Ramps lead to the turntable
- Cables are routed under the floor from the control room to the centre of the turntable
- Remote monitoring facilities
- Turntable operated remotely from the control room
- Turntable diameter – 3m
- Turntable load capacity – 1 ton
